In the Hot Seat: Stephen

What have you been up to?
I've been working on a few different projects, as always! Photoshoots for La Roche-Posay, social content for Walkinshaw and internal design work for Hotglue.

Did you face any challenges during this project?
No challenges yet, touch wood! Main thing would be just managing time to complete all of the work in time.

What has been your favourite project while at HG?

Probably the shoot in Echuca for Rosella. Waking up before sunrise everyday was worth it for the shots we captured!

What is the biggest mistake that businesses make when they post on social media or produce and edit content?

I think consistency. Regularly posting and to a high standard. In terms of editing, I would say over editing images and making them look unnatural.

What change do you want to see in the industry?

More beards. There aren't enough walking around Hotglue HQ.

What is your favourite thing to do on the weekend?

Hanging out with mates, spontaneously booking flights and seeing bands play. As well as making hot sauce, jerky, peanut butter, burgers and beer, or whatever I feel like making in the moment! I have a lot of hobbies.

NOW FOR SOME HOT FIRE QUESTIONS…

Who in the office is most likely to need IT help?

Jo. [laughs] Nah, I reckon maybe Tanya, especially with the phone stuff.

Who in the office is most likely to bring out the beers on a Friday arvo?

I think everyone but probably me… even on a Wednesday.

Who in the office is most likely to have a dangerous daily amount of coffee?

Maybe Georgie. I think she had four the other day before our morning shoot.
