Reflecting on 2021 with Nick

What has 2021 looked like for Hotglue?

2021 has been a blur! We started the year like everyone else, with our fingers and toes crossed that lockdowns weren't going to strike again, but sure enough, they did. We blinked, and here we are! December again!

What are the main changes that have occurred for the business this year?

We've experienced another huge year of growth, in staff numbers, new clients and billings, so we found ourselves needing to implement a company-wide restructure to accommodate. We're 4 months in to that restructure and all reports are that it's been a really positive change. Our teams are working more efficiently and ultimately providing a better level of service and output for our clients.

What are the main wins for the business in 2021?

I could list all the wonderful clients we've had the good fortune of taking on this year, but the biggest wins for me are the wonderful group of people who have joined the business this year. We've had some incredibly bright sparks join us and make the Hotglue light shine even brighter.

Proudest moment in 2021?

Without a doubt, being named as one of the Best Places to Work in the Media and Marketing Industry in Australia.

Any plans for the 12th anniversary of the business in 2022?

I'd love to finally take the team on a trip to celebrate, but we haven't had much luck planning that over the past 2 years! Fingers crossed everyone gets to travel somewhere next year. We've all deserved it.
