Behind Our Campaigns

Beautiful Without IT, Beautiful With IT
Client: IT Cosmetics (L’Oréal)

The brief:

Celebrate IT Cosmetics’ hero product, Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream by localising the global Beautiful Without IT, Beautiful With IT campaign using AU/NZ talent, producing images and videos celebrating beauty and confidence in their skin with and without make-up. This is the second time our team has produced the local creative with a local shoot since taking on the brand four years ago. A strict timeline for this year’s shoot meant getting approvals from the talent and their agents, along with global and APAC brand teams. The Hotglue team smashed it from the reverse brief to the final assets and the client was incredibly happy with the results.

The campaign also included Senior Social Media Manager, Sophie, attending the Beautiful Without IT, Beautiful With IT media event in Sydney to help with social media coverage.

The results:

Lisa O’Donovan, National Trade Marketing Manager: “You guys did a great job; our reach across the campaign exceeded last year – our radio campaign was stronger than last year on a smaller budget;  our paid social performed better and programmatic has given our numbers a massive boost that we’ve not had in the past.  Just wanted to acknowledge the great job you and your team did.”

Activity was booked to appear across the following channels:  Radio, Digital ( Prog Display), Paid Social (Meta) and Shopfully. Hotglue engaged a well known Australian actor as the V/O artist and created a new charismatic Thirsty Camel character that can work across brand and retail executions. Listen below to see one of these executions come to life for radio.
